Do you have the new 5th gear or do you need me to get one ? If you have it already I'll hit you up for $80 and if you want the case welded its $150 and that includes new seals .

Good pics, and good advice, although your reasoning for the 5th gear pop-out isn't correct. The pocket in the shift fork is not the main problem, and it won't start to happen (if ever) until after you're already experiencing 5th gear pop-out.

You should at least link to the original How-To on 5th gear pop-out if you're going to supplant/supplement it.
