Did you use the picture with the wire diagram for the B14? I don't know what is meant by harness side and ECU side. Can someone clear that up? I'm going to be installing mine this weekend coming up and I don't want to "break or fry" anything.

ECU side means if you are splicing two wires to the same wire, it is the one closer to the ECU on the wire. Harness side means it is the farther of the two from the ECU on the wire. As far as the 1cm, I don't understand the point of that and the SAFC Neo manual does not mention it at all. I wired mine a few hours ago with maybe a few millimeters of space between the wires and it appears to work just fine. Even physically I do not see why you should need a distance of 1 cm. (Perhaps the NEO is different from SAFC II in this respect)

Edit: nvm that last comment it's gone now anyway

According to the manual it's the same I think (N3-a) but I will double check that later on.

Harness side goes to the wiring harness and ECU side the side of the wire going into the ECU. Splice in between them and solder the leads in.

I soldered because I do not trust the plastic ties given, and it is my car.

Hope u figured it out and sorry for long response time.

i noticed that the b14 diagram says "modified b14" in the upper left hand corner. anybody know what that is? my little bro is looking to get the apexi safc neo for his turbo 96 200sx se-r and are wanting to use this in conjunction with his stock ecu.

Modified B14 (I think depending on the year this pin is different)
