HOW TO: Replace rear wheel bearing (1996 Infiniti G20t)
Rear wheel bearing replacement on a 1996 Infiniti G20t (by Dan Raymond)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Loosen the lug nuts (13/16") on the rear wheel. You do this first so
the weight of the car will prevent the wheel from turning.
2) Jack up the rear of the car and remove the rear wheel.
3) Remove the caliper mounting bolts (14mm) and suspend the caliper from
the strut with some wire.
4) Remove the brake pads.
5) Remove the caliper mounting bracket (two 17mm bolts).
6) Remove the rotor. It is pressed onto the hub. There are two threaded
holes in the rotor that reveal the surface of the hub beneath them.
Insert a metric M8 standard pitch (1.25mm) bolt into each hole and
thread them in with a ratchet until the rotor pulls off the hub.
7) Remove the dust cap over the axle nut. Use a flathead screwdriver and
a mallet. Be careful not to damage the dust cap.
8) Remove the cotter pin.
9) Remove the axle nut (30mm) and washer.
10) The hub should easily slide off now. Install the new hub and the
assembly is the reverse order of removal.

I found this using the search button! Need to know if the rear bearing/hub on a B13 is the same. It's step 10 I'm worried about. The fronts are pressed in. The rears just slide out? Let me know guys.

I sort of assumed they had to be pressed out and pressed back in. This was also echoed by another well known forum member. It turns out they are a slide-on slide-off affair. Extremely simple. You couldn't even press them out if you wanted to (impossible). You can use a puller on them if they are stuck, but it's really just a slip fit that should be well greased still after 200k+ miles. So, I bought a 12-ton press for nothing. =D

Anyway, just wanted to update this. The rear wheel bearings are easy to do and just come out without any special tools. Take note that the rear bearing nut is 30mm (not 32mm like the fronts) and this is for a B13.
