A little tip ....i learned and would like to share with ya.
When doing a oil change ...buy one extra quart of oil ..the cheapest u can find.
After u drain all the old oil out, reinstall the drain plug but dont tighten it too hard cuz ur gonna have to remove it again. Now here is where that extra quart of oil comes in add about half the quart ..then wait about 2 minutes .....get underneath the car and drain it out (You'll Notice How its still draining black oil) then slowly it'll get lighter colored. After it stops dripping reinstall the drain plug again and add whats left of that quart of oil ...wait a few the drain it again....after the oil comes out clear now tighten the drain plug as normal and add ur normal oil. I spend an extra 2 bucks but the oil is cleaner longer.

Very good tip indeed. I think part of the sludge build up is because about a quart of old oil stays in the oil pan.

ive also heard it you drain the oil out put some cheap oil in it and a quart of ATF let it idle for a little bit then drain it out and you get more sludge out.I personally never tried it but i think i will next time around.I usualy buy a pan of engine cleaner before i drain the oil out.As for oil i use 3quarts Castrol syntec 10w30 one Lucas sythectic oil stabilizer and a can of engine restorer every time my car has 236k on it people tel me to use the blend but why?? My motor works great.

I run 3qt of 10w30 or 5w30 dyno oil, and 1 qt of ATF. Andreas Miko suggested it to me almost a year ago, it seems to clean out blocked pipes

Dinosaur oil. You get it from squeezing them at the ribs.

Dyno oil is another term for Conventional non-synthetic oil hehe. You will see me saying dyno oil a bit, it's much easier to spell then conventional

Nice pics...my favorite one was pulling the hood latch with the glove! Very detailed-my granny could follow this and change the oil in my car for me...hey, wait a minute!
Well put together!!
The Mobil oil filter also shares the OEM "oil trapping" design (did I spy one in one of the pics?). I buy them b/c they're more convenient for me to get ahold of. Seems like a good filter.
Its funny the aftermarket filter manufacturers are just recently getting it together and mimicking a 15 year (or more??) old design. Nissan really is one of the few cars that OEM always seems to work better.
ATF in your engine? REALLY?? YIKES!

We rednecks call it DINO down here in the south boy.

THE most IMPORTANT part of the oil change: take your old oil to Advance/Autozone...whoever offers used oil recycling/disposal.
Maybe if we all recycle it we can help to save a little bit of Antarctica-the little bit thats left, anyway...
