I was gonna say if your planning on going turbo, go get a DET right of way. You'll pay a little more up front ($200), but you get a turbo with it right of way and a much stronger engine. But since you already got a new motor....

Now keep in mind the motor you got is a JDM Roller Rocker, they are still not as boost friendly as a regular DE. What that means is, lighter weight valve train and crank, not as strong piston ring design etc. But I am personally boosting a USDM Roller Rocker and it's hecka fun and so far has been reliable, plus excellent gas mileage once I found the right timing combination.

With all of that said, you are still on a 32 bit ECU, which means you have to make a step down harness, repin your harness, or swap in a 99 P11 harness to be able to install a tunable ECU since 32 Bit ECU's are a lost cause for tuning.

I was going to do another DET swap, but I got the JDM DE for around $590 shipped. So I ran with it for now. Plus, I would be happy with a solid 200-225 hp. Or I just might sell the car and grab an older G20 or something and do a DET swap. We'll see. lol

Thanks. It has a brown hue to it in the sun, but I kinda like it. I would really like a white one, but this will work for now.
