Calling P10 manual trans owners...
There is minimal wear to the shifter knob in my P10, almost as if the previous owner used the stick instead of the knob and/or drove lots of no-shifting highway miles, and I see no evidence of a shift pattern on top at all. I've been looking at it from every angle and in all different kinds of light and I ain't found shit.

Was there a shift pattern on the top of P10 shifter knobs from the factory? Mine is definitely factory OEM.

The leather was missing from top of the shift knob on my last manual P10, so I have nothing to compare it to.

Two of my 3 started their tenure with me sporting factory knobs. The shjft patern is/was lightly stamped jn the top but wore quickly leaving pretty much no trace. Shortly thereafter the leather just peels off the knob anyway.

I always found the stock knob to be a little too high and a little too light so mine were all replaced with stockish looking momo's in short order.

So the pattern was there. I thought it should be because it isn't called out anyhere else. Shifter too high? Hello 1990's Nissan. Too light? Compared to my SE-R with a Stillen short shifter and ES bushings it's butter!

Link? Looking at it today I realized just how damn tall it is, and now it's going to bother me every time I look at it.

Sorry... lol. Just search for "momo anatomic long." And yes, I know that sounds terrible.

Momo Anatomico (long version) is the only shift knob I'll run on these cars. Perfection.

(Long on left, short on right)

So is the long version significantly shorter than the OEM knob?

You can insert the shift shaft deeper (also coughing) into the knob... so it sits lower in comparison yes
