Thread: 01 P11 engine noise/Bad AC compresor?

I have a 01 P11 with 205k. I was waiting in line at the car wash when a squealing/grinding noise started. Loud enough to hear the car. The noise almost completely goes away once the AC is turned on. Anyone ever deal with this before?? Thanks alot
