$2500 for a 99 G20t good?
So I have a local guy that has a very clean 99 G20t black on black with 140,000 miles clean title and clean all around. He told me $2500 cash. Is that a good deal? I'm not to familiar with the P chasis. Do the automatic transmissions on that SR give any problems?

2500 is a good price if it's clean. The auto trans is a hit or miss IMO. Some ppl report slipping at 150k but some works fine . I have no issues with mines at 200k

Seems like a good deal to me. Just change the trans fluid often. Hopefully they owner before you did also.

I think people with the 99 g20T (touring with limited slip) automatic tend to have premature problems long before the non-T auto trans.

and btw, my friend Steve (dragoneye from here) has 230k on a 99 auto g20 that is totally fine

^ even the auto p10 T tends to have the same failure (had one with 160k about to puke too FWIW)

165k on my auto, non-t, 99 P11. It is slow with the auto...eats up a lot of torque, and just doesnt have much punch off the line.

A LSD 5 speed changes the whole game...

$2500 is a decent price - KBB gives a clean, straight example around $3k or thereabouts at a dealership.
