Thread: 00-02 P11 G20 Autos too slow?

- Buying a 5 speed wasn't the point, I can't stress that enough. I'm not interested in having three 5speed cars. I just didn't realize they were this slow, but now I know. I can deal with it and try out new things that might help.

I would cheat on Nissan if I had to buy an automatic. I don't know how they could even justify calling this a transmission. I have a p11 auto trans with 50k miles in my garage, I can't even get rid of it for $100!

Is it LSD?

Been driving the RR P11 with NEMU for last week or so, I gotta say I miss driving it with this motor. It's a ton smoother and has good tq down low, I like it a lot more then the VE. VE didn't seem to like to rev as easily as the RR too, I gotta say roller rocker arms rock.

Installed lowport intake mani and instantly gained 10whp, tuned it and got 25whp over stock tune, 20whp over the RR tuned tune. I would heavily consider this mod Reese!

Though to get it to work with stock ECU, you will have to make a TB bracket to use your oem TB and IACV.
