Fix your codes first. I know with some bolt ons and stock ECU it tends to naturally dip in that RPM range. You will need a tune to get rid of it.

CPS effects iginition and fuel.. that could be your problem there, knock will retard timing if not working right and make it worse.

hmm I though CPS was only to detect misfire by cylinder, how do you found about effecting fuel and ignition?
I have always had CPS code because my fidaanza flywheel dont have the correct thooth.

cps is basically another wey to read wht cylinder is gonna fire next. also tells you what cylinder just misfired cuz it reads the "slowing" down of the flywheel. if u got an obdII u have one offset tooth to tell the cps what certain cylinder is at tdc (usually #1) because it reads off of a digital wave.

I do not think so, i have a fidanza flywheel on one of my race cars and it doesnt do that. But i do have a similar problem with my street car. only diff is that it wont go any faster after it warms up. i have checked and cleaned mass air, checked tps, disconneted ks and 02 sensor replaced cap and rotor, set timing, swapped ecu's engine coolant temp sensor, icu and tested the coil. only thing i havent done is checked fuel pressure and swapped the distributor. if anyone else has expirienced this problem and has an idea i will listen.
