^ we went a long way but there honestly isn't much left for us in Time Trials now that we have 11 records and the National Championship in TTF. (Well, there is always improving on our own times but we did that last year along with the Championship event for the 1st time)

w2w was the next logical step if we kept the car so that's where we are at.

One thing that held us back from making this decision for so long is the thought that we could find a suitable nonsunroof shell to start fresh but in the end, we realized the time involved in staring over outweighs the PITA of removal of the sunroof so the sunroof goes and the car stays (after a year of searching for a better rust free nonsunroof car, we gave up)

SWEET, what is required to run in the TTF class, i just picked up a G20 as a daily and would love to later on down the road make it a track car. I will be following your build to learn as much as possible...

thank you

^ 95 G20 starts out in TTG with a base weight 2877 and then it is a matter of what mods and weight you can reduce based on points.

All the info is here for you to research/check what you want to do yourself because all of this stuff is on a car-by-car basis and not an exact science but there are rules to follow to get you to were you want to be. For example, if you do too many mods, then the g20 becomes a TTE car. It all depends on what you want to do and to what extreme. I think there is a G20 that is a TTD car (because it is turbo and other mods as an example):

Thank You Chris, I was looking at classification of classes after I posted. It's a long list of how many points and all that good stuff. I'll print out the list and go from there, also my G20 is a 95 with no sunroof. If you don't mind me asking what mods do you guys have to bump your class.

thank you again.

We have weight reduction that cost us 7 points
then there is the coilovers, SSAC exhaust and dropping the Cat converter other than that, the other stuff is 'free' no points stuff like solid aluminum motor mounts, power steering cooler, removal of airbags (just check out the 'freebee' list that doesn't cost points and odds are good we did that mod)

We still have 100% stock front and rear sway bars for example... along with brakes *just not the brake pads but do have SS brake lines and removed ABS (again, no points to take for that)

I can't really think of anything else because our sr20 motor is 100% stock down to the clutch and flywheel but we might be changing the flywheel since that is a free mod too (not sure yet) Even the crappy g20 trans is stock (not a b13 trans as that would cost points)
