Drive a caged car in the street for daily driving isn't really ideal here either but certainly not illegal either.

Hey guys, The car officially has a 2012 NASA full Race Logbook and ran it's first official races this past weekend at MAM (MidAmerica Motorplex)

It couldn't finish it's last race on Sunday because of the passenger hub failed (broke like the driver side did) BUT the passenger side did have 219k miles on it so it had a long life with 25k miles of track abuse so nothing to really complain about there!

I'll try to get some video's uploaded this week.

Oh, it got a new F class track record over the weekend as well with NASA Central region!

Way to go guys! Aside from the new record and the failed hub how did the G feel out there?

It was actually 2 new records... one for PTF and one for TTF since we double stinted the car for the weekend.... but it felt very solid and quieter with the cage (not as much body flex and roll)

We plan to do just an HPDE type test day with it on the 20th and are waiting with baited breath to see if PTF gets to run at Nationals or not (if anyone drops out by August 17th -- last day to drop out and get money back -- then we won't meet the minimum to run and will not get the chance to run in PTF at Nationals.. boooo
