Thread: P11 auto to 5spd

Im looking into buying a p11t auto. and wanted to ask what is needed for
the 5spd swap. i have a 5spd b13 with blown engine, is there any parts i could use from that? n00b questions of course

i would hold out and find a p11 5spd if you really want a manual p11...it's gonna be a PITA to find the parts necessary to do a tranny conversion

yeah i figured it would be a pita... there is a nice red one and an ugly silver one.. sadly the nice one is the auto. I guess im sticking to my b13 and throwing a fresh det on it

just talked down the price of this good looking red p11 auto t model from 3000 to 2500 and i can probably talk it down some more. i know its a pita but might be worth doing the swap on it

After the price and effort of the swap you could have purchased a 5speed p11. You NEED a P11/B15 gearbox as the P10/B13/B14 boxes don't have the threaded holes for the top mount, then you need p11 shift linkage and hydro setup.

would the b15 be a bolt on. or does it need mods. theres a pretty decent priced b15 spec v for sale.

B15 is good.
u need the mounts,master/slave cylinders,clutch,flywheel,shift linkages, wire harness, 5spd ecu(optional), shift surround/boot and M/T axels well and ur ready for 5spd
