Mystery Transmission Hose??

Just looking around under the hood today I found this random hose coming off my transmission housing on the driver's side. I have an Automatic '99 p11.
Below is a photo of where it originates from. On the other end it's just hanging loose. The hose is about 10" long. I don't remember seeing this when I did my motor swap about 8 months ago.
Any ideas? Is it just a vent hose?

Yeah, it's such a long ass hose! IIRC the one on my B13 is stubby.
