Thread: 300zx brakes problems in 93 g20

So i bought this 93 g20 and it has 300zx brakes according to the previous owner. However they rub with the caliper or something so you could hear it rubbing when you are driving slow, however when im going fast they do get the breaking part done cuz they stop the car right away, but why would they rub ? anything i should take a look at before taking it apart, or anything i should keep in mind ? im planning on taking it apart this weekend to really check it out.

the rotors diameter should have been shaved down about 3-4mm or they rub.

Machine shop? Whats the stock size of the g20 rotors

Your brake pads could also be worn to the wear indicators.
