125miles all on highway today.
Florida has great roads. It never freezes here, they are flat and smooth. Because so many people drive here from other US cities, the interstates are built to carry many cars.
I still think it's a 55-65mph highway car. Anything much over than becomes less comfortable. I have a good amount of road vibration and tire noise.
I was thinking today that it rides just like every other Japanese car. It's not a Buick.
I did find it a bit hard to handle. I seemed to be correcting the steering almost constantly at high speed. It doesn't take much on the steering wheel as the steering is very responsive. It rides on rails, taking entrances and exits at higher speeds, the car seemed well controlled and I didn't feel any body roll. That could never be said about the e39.
You have to drive this car, you are not driven (like the e320). If you like to drive the G20 can be fun little Japanese experience, just a little less refined compared to the german counterparts is my estimation.
Cruise control is a big help on the g20 as the gas peddle is a little stiff. Turn the radio up, set CC at 65 and the g20 will do the rest. It felt like it could go at the speed infinitely.
I have to be objective though, the g20 was never meant to compete with the 528i bmw, it was meant to compete with the 3 series and if you compared the g20 to the 3 series I think they would be much closer in ride quality. Let's face it, both the 325i and g20 are city cars and best used for the size intended.
