P11 Year to year Electrical differences?
I wanted to know if there are year to year differences for the P11 G20 cars.
I know the engine\ECU harness is different in the 99 G20.

Are there any more changes Nissan/Infiniti made?
One of my rear window switches is busted and I wanted to know if it was ok to get a window switch regardless of the year G20 it's from.

I've had bad experience with my first 98 SE-R frying a bunch of switches when I installed a 96 SE-R window switch. I don't want that to happen again since it took a while to fix everything that got damaged.

00+ P11's have an electric trunk opener, while 99 is still a cable. Then engine differences.

Everything else should be similar. How old is your p11? I might have some spare P11 window switches for the 00+

After thinking about it I wouldn't swap the harness. Swapping out the motor for anything other than a DE in the P11 would be a waste of money/time. They're pigs. Too heavy.

Baller status though! I the P11, comfy for daily, comfy and silent at 60-70mph and has ton of cargo space. Gets decent gas mileage (34mpg at 70mph on a VET). I'm sure if it was lighter then it would get 36-38. When I press on the gas it hauls, and handles exceptionally well.

Even if I could loose some weight on the P11, I don't know if I would. Being 2900lbs helps with the traction, I have never hydroplaned on one, and I've never been stuck in the snow. Wind and passing trucks don't toss the car around either. It's just a much sturdier/safer car then any of the B series cars. Heck I freaking flipped one, tipped it back over and drove it home, not a scratch on us (no airbags were on the car either), not a broken glass, just some body damage.

On my B14 I would constantly have hydroplaning issues, going 70 with pouring rain was impossible. Wind would throw the car around, trucks passing would throw it around too.

So as you can see I'm a happy P11 camper, it's awesome that it's so easy to drop in a DET/VE/VET into these without any fab work . If you want a trackslut then look elsewhere, but for a daily I couldn't ask for a better car.

What tires? Has never happened here, was even going 75mph at insane rains.

Between '99 / '00+ there are several wiring differences(some simple):

Headlights / corners
Rear o2 sensor
Engine harness
ECM (32 bit)
NATS
Chipped Key
Trunk pop
Engine to chassis harness

I'm sure I'm forgetting something.
