Its a Ford Sierra possibly Cosworth. They are pretty common in Europe. Especially in UK.

+1. It is very hard to mistaken the door locks. I don't remember any other car but Ford with these ugly plastic door locks which more look like buttons to me.

As far as I know, Primera (P10) was released on European market so it can compete exactly with Sierra. Anyway, by that time other vehicles also were sort of similar to P10 and Sierra (which is RWD). For instance, Opel (Vauxhall) Vectra.
