It depends, I have owned 4 P11's so I have piled up quite a bit of parts. So have a spare mafs and a few IACV's. Unfortunately I'm on my last IACV, hence I'm going to swap a VE in before IACV dies and I have to pay $120 just to let the car idle.

Aren't the 00+ P11 auto's stronger than the older P10-99 P11 auto?

Is the P11 MAF like the B15, meaning, can it be replaced with a cheaper Maxima MAF? I've never had a problem with my B15 IACV, isn't it basically the same as the P11 IACV unit? Is the P11 IACV/AACV combined on the TB?

Not sure about the autos vs older ones. They are probably the same 150whp max transmissions.

P11 MAF should be same as B15, sensitive to vibrations, not the same as Maxima MAF's (at least older 95-99 Maxima). G20.net has a saying... "It's always the MAF..."

IACV is on the throttle body, it's a motor that gets jammed up. I had two of them die withing a month.

Well, I had a turbo b15 auto that was about 210-220whp, and the trans lasted over a year, only grenaded when I went ve-t.

Maxima MAFs are a cheap/easy upgrade for b15's, and I've never had an issue with a iacv/aacv. In fact, I continued to use it with the b15 tb on my ve-t for a while.

All from personal experience.

The idle on my p11 drops and picks back up so I'm thinking the iacv is bad. And I'm getting a winding noise from the compressor, only comes on when I put current to it

AC compressor clutch is probly getting stuck or its on its way out.

adjust the IACV and if that dont fix it replace it.

I got a black on black 99 for my mom in ok condition 7/10 i paid $1400

You must have been very nice on the transmission. Then again you can't really dump the clutch or shift badly on an auto. People not knowing how to drive manuals is probably the number one killer of our transmissions.

Which year Maxima maf?

Lucky on the IACV, I've know a local guy that has been through some troubles with his IACV too.

If the IACV is bad it wont idle without you having to give it gas.

LOL, I manually shifted the car for a couple years.

I can't remember which year maximas but it's been listed on here before. I switched to MAP before I ever needed to replace the MAF.

I believe it is the 2000-2001 Maxima MAF.

I believe this is the part#: 22680-2y002.

I know when my MAF died on my B15 I went with the Maxima MAF from Courtesy and it has been working great for about 5 years now.
