Thread: Swapping Trannys Need Help

i have a b13 with a det swap and had put the original b13 tranny in it. now it cracked and im getting another tranny. i need to know if a tranny from a 95 g20 will fit? and if it has limited slip differential? and if ill have axle problems? need to know asap im doing the swap today

ok the tranny will fit but if it doesnt have lsd youll need new axles if it does have lsd.. then youll still need a new axle made for driver side.. b13 one cannot be used its too short.. youll need the outer part of the shaft to be from b13 and the inner from p10/lsd axle...

the gear ratio is taller on a G20 tranny your B13 will be slower at take off but your car will not turn as many rpm's at highway speed
