Thread: replaced front o2 sensor, still throwing code. HELP!!

i got a p0135 code (02 heater circuit, bank 1 sensor 1) i originally bought a universal sensor and that still threw a code so the other day i purchased a NTK (NGK) front 02 sensor. direct replacement. i just installed it and the p0135 code is still *pending* on the computer. do i need 2 run it before the computer realizes its workin or something??
help!!!!!

also ive noticed that when i dont turn on my car for a day or two when i go to turn it on it has a hard time cranking, could the battery be ding? or could my 02 sensor be short circuiting??

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED, IM TIRED OF THE DAMN *check engine* light
