Thread: P11 Prothane's!!

Not so up to date on the crossmember for the P11's. I think I read that they are the same for the AT/MT? Looks like a clean fit to me. Why haven't people been doing this? Which two were they using?

Not problem bro! My front mount was shot, the G used to bang into first gear the engine would move if i hit a pot hole, all of that is gone now!! I tried doing a burn out with the hood open and my friend did not see the engine move. It vibrates a little not, know where near my B13 but I only have 2 prothanes on the G and 4 on the SER.



auto and manual is the same on the P11, people have been using the 2 piece Prothanes off the passenger mount for the B13. it requires grinding and shaving of the mount. Trey has it and he said his engine moves.

^Interesting. With that being said, is this a new mount that has been developed for the P11? It looks like the B13 rear and tranny mount to me. Also, I didn't find a match on that # from the GSpec site.

I remember seeing somebody on g20.net doing the shaving of the 2 piece protane, I guess it's not working quite as well.

nah, i found this from a Spec V. The b13 rear is about 8/16 or 1" to short.

To check mounts I usually just pull the ebrake and try to drive the car with teh hood open while someone watches the motor, or vice versa. I am extremely excited, I will be ordering these after christmas.

Keo, are both bushings 14-504's, or the set with the 14-504 & 14-505?
