Which weighs less (A brake system question)
im wonder if anyones ever weighed in the p11 front brake calipers compared to a 2001 altima front brake set up.. both discs are the same size.. but havent seen a 2001 altima with abs sensor hole.
if the altimas are less weigh might as well get it cause theres tons of them in the junkyards now.. compared to p11's.. but p11's i know have hole for abs sensor.
So what im asking is this.. what brakes would you get the ones that weighed the least amount ? outta the two?

have you thought about just getting a set of p11s 'rebuilt' and returning the p10s for the core refund

...many people did this on the N2K AD22Vf sentra upgrade...

I have no clue which is less weight but logic tells me a hole in one means less weight

And thats why we also have a shortage of P10 LSD axles Chris. Which btw I am NOT happy about as its darn near impossible to find one.

I had no problem buying the EMPI axles for our LSD p10...

..and after over 3k track roadrace miles... and 2k street miles...

so many people poo-pooed the EMPI axles but they are FINE... for us anyway

well if i can get enough interest in LSD axles I was going to have an axle company make much better than stock axles that would be able to handle like 500hp. and that would more than likely totally eliminate the need for another set of axles ever again. Might be a bit on the pricy side. well like 400-500 for the pair. not expensive really.

I don't recall the P11 having a ABS sensor in the caliper itself.

IIRC, the 93-01 Altima, the B15 2.0 SE and non Brembo SER, and the p11 use the same front calipers.

if your interested in some stock P11 calipers, I'll sell mine soon. it will have a OEM Nissan/Infiniti pads with 200 miles on it. NEW A/M rotors with 200miles on it.
