And also the heads of the bolts/studs whatever that will serve as the mount. Granted they can be as thin as the bearing, but add that up with the thickness of the additional plate, and i think you find very little improvement over the OEM design.
very little improvement in ride height? or handling characteristics..
I need to buy new strut mounts anyway, so I won't mind paying for these even if they have the same performance as OEM, so long as I can get a little of a drop in the front.
The big question is: Will enough people want in on this, to make it worth your while to design and sell 10-15 sets of these?
