What bolts are needed? I was under the impression the bolts were included with the valve cover that I got originally.

They do come with the valve cover. If you bought just the center piece then you will want to pick up the required hardware. From memory, they look like M5 hex-head hardware. Maybe snag some titanium or aluminum ones from www.ballerbolts.com to avoid any rust look from the typical steel stuff at the hardware store that seems to rust in a day.
