lucky bastard!

I'm hoping the rates are reasonable.....looks like my usual spot on the strip (Flamingo) is at about $165 a night.

depends on what part of the strip. I believe it's about 10 minutes or so on freeway from the heart of the strip. Probably 30 minutes or more if you take side streets.

Which timeshare? I am booking 2 penthouses and a a standard room just in case. That should be enough for 12-16 people for the penhouses alone.

Strip is about 18 miles away from the track, depending on traffic you can get there 25-40 mins.

it's called Cancun. slightly south(?) of the strip, but on the same street.

and are you inviting us to stay with you?

That is where I am booking these rooms. You can't stay with me since I will be at my house with family but you are more than willing to stay in the rooms at the Cancun.LOL!!!

But then these rooms are being paid by me in advance since I do not want to use my points cause I am going to the real Cancun. All I ask is everyone to chip in at my cost which is way cheaper than a hotel.

The Cancun is located way south, a few miles before the actual strip but the I-15 is right there, a staight shot to the speedway.

LMK what you all think, I wish it would be free but my other half would not be so happy since it would compromise the actual Cancun trip...

...Greg check out the Cannery it is prerry close to the stip, it is a Hotel/Casino that has RV parking.

There will be judging for the car show and there will be a raffle. Prizes range from very small items all the way up to an AEM EMS stand alone unit worth over $1000. raffle tickets will be $5 each, or 5 for $20.

HOTEL INFO:

Embassy Suites
4315 S. Swenson St
Las Vegas, NV 89119
702-795-2800

Dina Harper is our rep. At this time we do not have the group code, but if you call and tell her it is under SERCA/Lesley Peters you should be good to go. The rate will be $159 per night, the rate good for October 9-12th. That means Thursday night through Monday for those flying out late. There will be small suites as normal, with either King or 2 x Queens and the usual couch in the living room. So pile in.
