The Avenirs came with the std SR20 tensioner. I was looking at the teeth. you have the rough teeth. Now I see what you mean by the top. maybe it is an N1. But anyway, all of them fit.

Ya, it's strange that they redesigned the new SR20 one with finer teeth whereas the N1 basically got the same tooth design as the older tensioners on the SR20 but with larger oil passage.
