has anyone used a 47kohm on the egr temp sensor? will it be to much? i cant get the 68ohm to work for some reason thanks

68 ohm is too low. 100K ohm is what you need.

Any updates from people using these? 68k ohm? 100k ohm? Any left over resistors from peeps who've done this? Mail me one, I'll pay you! My radio shack doesn't have these.

And FYI on the pic posted with part number 271-1106....those are 68 ohm...not 68k ohm.


Radioshack should have variable resistors (look like little blue boxes) just get whatever value above 68 (100 ohm would work) then turn the screw to the desired resistance. In theory you can go from 0 to whatever to dial it in. A 1k would probably work too. Better verify 68 vs 68k first
