The better way to do this is right inside the ecu, solder it right to the pins.

Ive been doing research and the best resistor you can use for this kind of cel clear mod is the 82kohm and 100kohm.

yes it does. any one else done this mod? 68k ohm 82k ohm and 100k ohm now question is with resistor will keep it off for good.

I used the 100k and it didn't work in my p11. Maybe I put it in wrong? But when I put in the 68k it worked perfectly.

My light has been off since November 6th, 2005 using the resistor. I also passed emissions twice since then.

i used the 100k and it worked till the winter..after the rebuild i will try the 68
