You could also go direct with someone like Protech-fabrication. They can generally get you a good deal on a turbine. (I got mine for $300 less than most sites.)

i think if he was looking to go with that turbo, another R turbo would probably be in his better interest, but thats comparing 2 different kinds of turbos.

yeah it would be some fab issues if your keeping the t2 manifold. but money for power the Precision sc turbos are where its at. quality+power+decent spooltime+$800= great buy my friends sc61 car blew the doors off a 3071r car. But if your wanting to keep things to a minimum on fabing up pipes I understand.
