How bad do you think it would be to drive without coolant running through it? and maybe the coolant is messing with the maf causing to to act so weird?

How do you guys think a GT28R would be for my stock motor?

eh i dont think its a bad turbo, it limits power, but the power it makes is super efficent, say 320whp give or take depending on setup......if you plan on staying semi stock, i would say its your best choice possible

yeah i wanna stock stock block for now and just have something reliable and newer and i found a good deal for $600 for one with 1k on it. I won't have to shave the block will i with a bluebird Mani? and I really don't wanna go over 300 haha 250 was my goal with the t25 and thats all my fuel and maf are setup for. looks like its time to upgrade!

Do you think i should find a gti-r mani and use that instead?

600.00 is a good deal, those turbos makes very efficent power, not only that but give you a large powerband which are very nice.

are you asking about the manifold as far as a clearence issued thing or performance issue betwee n the manifolds?

i think the gti-r is best performance but fitment wise don't really wanna buy a gti-r mani lol

i really feel the gtr series either the gt2871r or 28r 28rs aLL really respond extremely well to log manifolds, it helps keep the spool in the lower rpms,at least thats my expierence with them, i really dont think you can go wrong with whatever manifold you choose
