ashtonsser yeah if you have a weak dipstick it will pop out, under boost you will usually get some blowby usually more than what the pcv can handle, for the most part it will come out the breather located on the r/s of the valve cover. I had a worn dipstick as well and it did the same thing, changed it out with a spare that snapped in nice and tight and i had no problems afterwards, my compression was good and leakdown good. That motor was healthy. This happens on boosted motors and nothing you can really do about it.
Sorry to bring this old thread back to live but this is exactly what is happening to me guys.
My oildipstick is so loose that I am 100% sure that if you were able to turn it 180° it would just fall out by itself
Where can I get a new one (W10 engine block)?
I really need to buy this part new so it fits thigh and the seal holds in place.
