Clutch Help
Well guys im currently NA with plans of boosting, and getting ready to throw in a Fidanza. While I have the tranny off I want to put in a good clutch as well, so I wanted to know what clutch you guys would reccomend. I was thinking an ACT SprungClutch but I dont know what clutch to get.

As for my turbo set-up i thinking a T25 possibly T25/28 hybrid

Thanx guys

No a six puck is not overkill. Especially a sprung one. You want to buy a clutch that will not have to be upgraded three monthes down the road. Id never go with anything other then a Six puck clutch ever again in my car.

Get a Six puck and a Light or stock pressure plate and itll hold power all day and feel stock

I'm ordering this Clutch, South Bend Clutch

95-99 2.0 SR20DE Part#KNS02
The DXD racing series is a premiere high performance clutch for today's highly modified import racers. The DXD pressure plates have increased plate load pressure without adding to the pedal pressure, making it comfortable to drive off the track as well as on. Using a true dual friction, 6 button, sprung disc (metallic on the flywheel side and Kevlar on the pressure plate side) we are able to provide all the hook-up power that you need with a degree of drivability not found in other "puck" style discs.

All SBC Kits come with premium release bearing and pilot bearings as well as the proper alignment tool.

Note: Photo Shown displays the full line of South Bend Clutches. Actual product may vary from photo.

Most Applications Include Pilot/Throw Out Bearings

i say go with that 6 puck u got up. u could do 4 puck sprung since ur goin boost. u dont want it to wear out 2 fast if u go cheap. as long as its sprung it wont feel like an overkill because the cable in the b14s feel way different than any hydrolic clutch. i got a 4 puck sprung with heavy duty pressure plate n the pedal feels like stock its the grab that lets u know its not. good luck homie

ACT HD/SS is perfect. I ran that on my T25 setup and it held up fine with NO slipping. Its way more clamping force than you'll need.

A pucked clutch IS overkill for a basic turbo setup. You have a greater chance of damaging the transmission with a puck vs a disc. Use the lightest clutch you can get away with for your power goals to increase longevity of the transmission.

6 puck period, boosted applications are addicting, and you will want more and more power i would upgrade a clutch to something that is going to hold a broad range of power, and not be limited, 6 puck is perfect
