THE Beginning of my AWD B13
Transfered from the other, pics at the bottom

I just got my clip and subframe today. Here are some pics of the goodies.

I started to disass it as soon as it came in, since my camera was not charged there is no pic of its condition when it arrived.

I just wanna say thanks to JDMTiger first off, we hit a few snags, but if the bottom end looks like the top, we are gravy.

This is the condition of the freeze plugs in the head OMG. My camera was dead when we pulled the VC, but shiznite, it looks like no more then 5k miles at the most. I hope the bottom end looks as good, we will see this weekend

the gti-r tmic is F/S

Nismo rear struts came with the rear end, I was supposed to receive a driveshaft, but it was not in the pkg, like I said a few snags, but the engine looks beautiful and the Nismo's are a nice bonus

dash, he said it wasn't cracked, and it has one over the cluster, so I will see what they say

The bumper is going on the B13, it is in good condition and so are the lights and grill, I think they will look noce on the b13

And the hood just has some paint scrapes on it, but I am going to cut it up and graft it to the b13 hood I have yet to pull at a junk yard

Tomorrow release pressure in AC, remove it and continue to disassemble and maintain bolts.

Need to order new rotors for the AD22VF fronts that came on it. And it has a full ABS system, so I am gonna go hunting for any parts I need off a ABS B13 at the junk yard to make this work. It still has the ABS ECU, the solenoid looks good, the rear will need to be rewired from the plug on the subframe to the ring on the hub, the front is till all connected.

Pass on any ideas.

I will have some parts for sale as I go through this, so If you need something, ask.

When I bring my B13 from AZ to CA in dec you will see pics of the car that will undergoe transformation to badassness, and there will be parts for sale off that too.

Takin it slow on the tear down with the holidays and all. Actually it will be slow, I have a 6 month old and doing most of the work mysekf with 1 friend available on the weekends it will take some time.

But nice and slow will make the car nice.

power goal is no more then 350 at the wheels with a flat tq curve and power early on to hold all the way to 7.5k

Been looking over my b13 and the gtir fornt end. The b13 crossmember obviously has to go. Then I will either cut off the frame rails on the gtir that replace the crossmember and weld them to the b13, or fab up the a replication on the b13 that mimics the gtir front frame area.

If the dashs are not interchangable I will cut out the firewall down low in the center for the transaxle and weld in a new recessed portion, then work my way to the rear on the tunnel.

Once to the rear, what seems easiest is to cut out the unibody where the suspension arms bolt to it, wled in a type of cage to house the rear dif and for the suspension arms to bolt to. Pics soon, been too busy to work on or photograph
