100lb of torque?!?!?! Wow!

Ok so the way I see it, you shouldn't have any problem running with no Oil Cap, as long as you have a system to keep the oil from sprinkling all over the motor.

Then you would have to block off the PCV valve, then block vent the VC at the Tee.

This would seriously keep all of the unnecessary air out of the intake manifold, thus not running too lean or too rich, and it should give you room to vent out all of the blowby

So what would be the best way to run it on a VE-T setup running a MAP sensor ???

Check this out, we have two breather filters on the valvecover of this mustang. I said "hey we have a ton of blowby coming out of these breathers!"

Seriously, there was so much blowby the filters were soaked in oil and the filters would balloon up under full boost. So I said, lets take off the oil cap and I will hold a rag over the hole while we do a pull.

The look on their face was priceless. HOLY $hit!!!! Bam! 40whp just like that. Car made almost 600whp before and 638whp after, just by removing the oil cap to relieve some pressure.

Wow I wonder if NA gains would be any good, or just neglectible ones...

That is awesome! Good call! What are they going to do to deal with it in the long term?

I ran it like that because the OEM catch can wouldn't clear the manifold. Just make sure you use hose clamps to secure the hose. I didn't, and the motor sprung a leak from the nipple in the block, getting oil all over the engine bay.

wonder why someone doesn't invent an oil cap with check valve or a vacuum assisted cap. Sorta like a wastegate so when you pound it it cracks open a bit to relieve pressure? I guess you wouldn't want oil squirting out but I'm sure there could be some sort of filter?

Because obviously taking it off free's up some ponies and we all like ponies !

Well other then the whole oil deal, by stock design you would be releasing metered air into the atmosphere, and emissions people wouldn't like you either haha...

But I think it's a great idea, you have a huge check valve and then goes out to a 5/8" hose, so that you could direct the oil drip else where...
