It is a good thought but you will have some trouble with t25/t28 IMO. I have made a dump pipe/down pipe coming of the turbo and it is pretty tight with just the alternator in there and a mandrel 2 1/4 bend. You might just get the 5 bolt flange and make one solid dump pipe/down pipe. Maybe do it divorced if you feel up to it

one flange is, the T28 and the v band flange puts it around $60, plus the 3" pipe and the weld. price is fair to me.

i say it's fair, but i'd tend to agree with jere, i'm really not a big fan of vband unless you absolutely need to detach it quickly. I might be tempted to do a vband further down to run open at the dp for the track or whatever.

I just thought it was cool since people have been talking about the o2 housings lately and i thought the price was pretty good. Its more expensive on ebay for some reason hahaha

You cant use this piece and get away with a decent pipe.

With my side exit the curve started alot earlier than on this piece. I am using 3.5" pipe, but I still dont think you will clear the alternator if you start the bend that late.

Just my opinion...
