Almost forgot! HA!

Monday, on the way to work, something hit me. The rear end feels pretty soft compared to the front, which was set to full stiff. I jacked up the car at the shop and looked at the AGX's, and they were set to 4! Obviously not good for drag racing, having the front full stiff and the back sloshing around. I then took the front down to 3, and took the rear up to 8. We'll see how the weight transfer changes this weekend.

Just noticed that your shifting at 7k. No wonder you ran a 15 Tek. Th ecar is probably making the power. But the Gt30 needs to be revved to go fast. Rev it to 7500 at least!

I'm not running it to redline, because I don't have it tuned perfectly, yet. Is that a good excuse? I actually want to take it to 8K, but I've got to get the oil changed to a different weight, at a minimum. Head sounds noisy on start up, until oil pressure builds, then it's quiet but you can still hear the same noise.

if you wanna go with some really great synthetic oil i personally recomend the AMSOIL SSO signature series 0-30 oil, with the oil and the filter along with the engine flush from amsoil it ran me a tad over 100.00 but the car runs so much better now. the idle is more smoothe, revs up more smooth than before..all around really great oil... i changed from mobil to amsoil and i wont ever go back to mobil..

I've got a business card from someone that sells AMSOIL. I don't think I need to do a flush since the motor has really low mileage on it, being a fresh build. I may hit him up.

I know the honda heads here run 10w40 here on their high HP turbo cars.

PUahahh!!!

Friday night, I decided to take the car to the track again, not really to race, but to spectate my own car running down the track. The shop owner wanted to run my car down the 1/4mi. to see how much better he could do. I of course agreed, as he has a TON more driving experience on the track.

Needless to say, he did just as bad as I do. His main complaints:

Clutch feel: Sloppy, not precise, too stiff.
Car feel: Tires are ****tier than he had ever imagined. He tried as I do to feather as much as possible, and every time he tapped the throttle the tires broke loose into a spin frenzy.

Looks like I wasn't on crack after all, the tires are just like plastic. He stepped into the burnout box to heat the tires as well, and that didn't make any world of difference.
