DEFINITELY. I'm looking into an LSD at present time. Sucks that I can't get something like a Quaife, damn near impossible to find. Probably better off just buying a P11 LSD tranny, and throwing a phantom grip or equivelant in there to help out.

I'm also already looking at KDW's. I think the next time I head out to the track, I should have everything I need. I'm also planning on running at a better track, either Firebird, or running at Arroyo Seco Raceway. They have a 1/4mi. track opened once a month.

I was laughing uncontrollably last night, and everyone was just kinda looking at me when I was on crack. Someone snatched my timeslip from me and was like "WTF?!!?"

I got beat off the line by a Volvo T55 (I think that's what it is? AWD turbo?), and I couldn't hold traction so I kept feathering to gain it back, and he would pull a little bit more. By the time I was in fourth, I was pulling on him something FIERCE. He said all he heard was a turbo spooling and he started to panic. (His windows were up the whole track).

The T5 is the AWD turbo model usually. Those are some decently quick cars for what they are.

Crazy you were pulling almost 3 second 60 foot times. I agree with some of the other guys though. Lower the tire pressure some. It really does help out.

lol wow those 60ft's and i didnt think they got much worse than 2.7-8, wow, haha definetly get that LSD and some good tires. I pulled 2.12 60ft on street tires 195's at that. Lol Good stuff though, glad to see you finally getting the car out to the track after all the mess you went through, The times will definetly get better with practice.

I know the feeling. The track here sucks fat floppy donkey... well you get the idea. I've come to the conclusion that not only does the track suck, but my tires suck, and I suck at drag racing. It's a winning combo.

If you get some good tires, and practice quite a bit, you'd probably put down some decent times.

Yeah, I'm pretty confident in myself (not TOO confident, but enough), that I can launch the car good with some decent tires. I ran 15.3's and 15.5's with the car that was limping to the tune of 170whp, on a T25 at 10psi.

A lot of people don't realize that they're supposed to take off as they see the third yellow light on the tree illuminate, to get that damn near perfect RT. Last night I was more worried about the car in general, than getting the times dialed in. I wanted to shoot for consistency, and I got that, just with too much damn wheel spin

Right?! That's okay, I'm covertly working on grenading the transmission (Shhh! Don't tell the wifey), so that I have an excuse to buy a P11 LSD tranny.
