^^^^hahaha fair enough

yeah dont really want a pretty engine bay, although i might end up getting one damn it, as my builder will be painting the rocker cover gold as its his trademark. and the turbonetics compressor is a little shiny for my liking

personally i would prefer black piping, unpolished low mount (to hide from cops), steampipe black coated manifold and a stealthy gate. but meh aint gonna happen

yeah thanks for you reply, yeah i really like the o ring design myself. the jgs design looks good too. i will be buying very soon, this week sometime, just sucks that the u.s. dollor has rises about 1/5 in the last 3 weeks compared to ours

I wouldn't call it pure idiocy, but I wouldn't call it correct, either.

I would say, though, that if I had gone with slightly smaller diameter piping, I could have slightly improved response, but it sure wouldn't be much, IMO.

I'm running 2.5" hot side, and 3" cold side piping, with 2.5" inlets on a pretty large bar and plate intercooler.

Full boost at 5Krpm (15psi), and it's pure madness

Try getting 600 hundred gardened hoses and blow those then tell us what happens

I'm sorry I don't know how you made up your info on this subject but I'm going with Corky Bell on this one until I see something more. What really matters is that the difference is minimal and it's not worth pitching a fit about

Boost onset isn't what you're after, it's flow. You'll flow more air sooner with larger pipes. If you want less power then by all means stick with the smaller is better theory or the even more ridiculous smaller hot side theory.

So you are saying 15- 90 degree bends and 12in wide pipe flows better and faster for a 200hp motor than say 3- 90 degree bends and 2 inch wide pipe right?

i have to say i agree with 99% of your posts, this is one of very few of your opinions i disagree with. the only reason being real life experience with different set ups

Where's some documentation that disproves the "theories"?

well the jgs 50mm fell though damn it, would have been a good gate

so yeah does anyone know if the new jgs 40mm is o ring or diaphragm? if its diaphragm i will prob just get a synapse 40mm and be done with it
