Another picture of mine with everything buttoned down this time, at a different angle. (From this update in my build thread.)

Back from the dead!!! Just a simple question. I have been leaking a little oil from this spot on my car, and my return line has a slight kink in it. I was just wondering if the flanged solid line from the turbo is a stock piece oem piece?

A few notes on that picture.^

  • That's a GT2560R on a Bluebird manifold, and as you can see, the drain lines up perfectly.
  • On a GTiR manifold, it won't line up nearly as well, but a short piece of hose will still work fine.
  • I'm not sure where I got that drain, but the center to center meassurement on the bolt holes is too large, and I'm going to need to slot the holes.

Thats interesting I just put a ball bearing t25 on my bluebird mani and I had to bend the oil drain straight to get it to work. Chris, I think that might be a journal bearing oil drain as I had to notch the holes on mine as well to get it to work. I just don't get why I had to bend mine straight.

Good answer! I just checked it against a T25 with a journal bearing DSM center section, and the center to center spacing on the T25 is smaller.

GT2560R on a BB manifold

Same GT2560R on a GTiR manifold

And a T25 on a GTiR manifold

Interesting how big of a difference the 2560R makes.
