You run an 11 second with a GTIR turbo which is great. You would figure a larger turbo and some low 11s would be just fine for an upgrade.
The ECU was not programmed for the way you want to change the car to.
I don't know why he went blow thru, but I can say with certainty that some of us don't have the option to go draw thru due to the location of the turbo, and the turbo's inlet size.

I have yet to find someone/pictures that help me determine how I'm going to run the pre-turbo intake pipe, due to the closeness of the turbine to the dogbone and block.
