You dont need high numbers with the T25! Its like an AWD car...get a good launch and your good to go since you dont have to wait for any spool. Honestly Id probably be running my T25 still if my oil line hadnt cracked forcing me to upgrade. Im glad I upgraded though! Hell if the T25 makes over 300lbs of tq when its over boosted Id love to see what a T28 would do!

Well guys i did break but i did get 3 good runs in before it went. The timeslips are pretty dull so here they are typed out. Oh and btw this is my first real time running on slicks, haha, hows that for 60ft times, i spun the slicks every launch, i think if i would have done a 2nd gear burnout i could have maybe pulled a 1.6XX 60ft. My suspension felt really good. The urethane bushings and coilovers helped alot keeping the front wheels planted.

1st run: didnt do a burnout to heat the slicks, rev limiter launch, preloaded drivetrain.

60ft: 1.899
1/8: 8.078 @ 87.5mph
1/4: 12.573 @ 105.9mph

2nd run, heated up slicks slightly, rev limiter launch preloaded drivetrain.

60ft: 1.81
1/8: 7.98 @ 87.3mph
1/4: 12.44 @ 109.51 mph

Last run i got the best launch, heated up the slicks really good, Slicks set at 10psi btw: rev limiter launch, preloaded drivetrain.

60ft: 1.724
1/8: 7.87 @ 87.44
1/4: 12.47 @98mph

This is the run that let go. Here is the thing. Notice my 1/8 mile is already .1 faster. the topend was pulling like crazy. My speedo is pretty accurate btw. 2nd run right as i crossed the line my speedo was at 110mph. Here is what happened. about 300ft before the end of the 1/4 mile i was crossing 110mph on my speedo then it fell on its face and and i look back and a big cloud of blue smoke. Just totally lost power so i coasted to the finish and still ran that 12.47. That run would have been a 12.0-1 easily @113 is my guess. I let the car cool for 45 minutes before the 3rd run. The pipes on the other run were burning hot. The topend felt soo much better on the 3rd run and it was pulling hard till i lost the 3rd cylinder. The 3rd cylinder has 0 compression. Pretty sure i melted a hole in it being it got hot and i wasnt using my race gas yet because i still had almost a half tank and i didnt want to add the weight and it wouldnt have mixed good anyways. So i was gonna just burn up what was in there then put the race gas in and bump the timing up a couple deg to increase topend even more.

The car was running sooo good too. Even though it was 85 deg out on my 3rd run, my other two runs it was about 90 deg out. So yeah do the math, a 70 deg night, race gas, bumped timing i think an 11.9 would have been feasable. haha Oh well bigger and better things to come

I will post up vids here in a minute. Enjoy. Evo towed me 3 hours home once again, haha

Ha I went with a bigger turbo then the T28 and ill never go back! It seems you can actually have a nice sized turbo and still have response!

Ashton you stay breaking some **** lol. If you were closer Id give you this SR20 ive got sitting in the garage! That T25 makes to much heat to be pushing it like that at the track on a hot day. Once you get that T28 on your gonna be like "fack the T25!"

yeah thats the thing, it will be back bigger and better, Ive got two of my CP pistons and another guy has 2 good ones also that he will sell me for cheap, i will get a new set of CP piston rings and gonna go with a Cosworth HG. So i will have another semi built motor perfect for that T28 setup at 20psi. I cant wait. 520cc injectors. Im aiming for a 10.9 on a T28 @20psi. I probably wont ever go back to a t25, ive already felt the difference a t28 makes at the same boost level as the t25 not to mention going 8psi more.

LOL for 10's your gonna need a good ammount more power then teh T28 can give. Even at 20psi. Also go with something bigger then 520cc's. Ive got 50lbers in my car now and they max out at 350whp so I cant turn my boost up. Do it right the first time so you dont have to keep swapping out stuff. I wish I wouldve just went with some 72lbers from the start.

Well the turbo is an S15 dual bb T28 in very good condition. It should do pretty well with 9:1 compression, 20psi, either 520's or 740's, and the S4 cams. Ive seen some rwd sr's pull 330whp on this turbo with a milder cam than the s4's. Not to mention a little less compression. Im hoping for 350whp at 20psi of boost. And thats power that will basicly hold to redline. Right now the T25 is useless after 6k, i guarantee i will probably make almost 100whp more at 20psi at the 7k rpm range. The t25 drops off soo bad. Not to mention the t28 will make way more power all the way accross.

I will see what happens. I think it might be enough to do it honestly, ill wait till its in the 60's at night and run, haha.

dude that is sweet. Too bad it burned up though. That sucks. How much boost before it let go?
