Thread: blow thru setup gone bad

guess i can update this lol.... stupid me make a gasket for the maf between the filter adapter and didnt even check the inside and it was covering the sensor! lol so i went back to recirculation and today i went back to blow thru and it works great! thanks for all the help

lol cool, i didnt even bother with the maf adapter, i just cut the flange off the 300zx maf using a dremmel with a cutting disk, it works soo much better, plus i left a little lip on it so there is no chances of the 3" coupler blowing off. my coupler on the other side with the smooth part is the one that always blows off, but then again im using a worm drive crap clamp on that one instead of a tbolt like the rest, i ran out of 3" tbolt clamps, haha just have to pick up a new one. Neways just thought i would share, Its fairly simple to do and i know others have done it as well to eliminate the need for the adapter.
