possbily, autozone tests the alts for free. id hate to replace parts that dont need replacing unless it is cheap.

I have been running a mechanical gauge for quite some time now (4 yrs) and never had a problem. Instead of the copper tubing go with SS lines.

Not really, ran a test with my Multimeter and the voltage was fine on the ALT and the Battery. the lights are off now and only come on when I shift in full boost??? Why I have no idear. But I think I'm still gonna get a spare from Miko just in case.

just because the alt is putting out volts doesn't mean it's putting out the amps
