Sorry to double post, but you've gotta point, the guage could indeed be good, but it's stuck and not moving at all. So should I be driving the car at all????

well thats a tough decision considering there are some people who dont have gauges at all with no problems, they just dont know where their psi level is at. or if its normal or not.

but if your gauge is faulty i dont see any reason to consider your oil pump to be faulty. the gauge is just cheap and unrelieable. you would really need a reason to believe that your engine isnt performing right to not want to drive it. but more than likly its a faulty gauge

also is it a mechanical gauge or electric?

if your on a budget Autometer is not cheap but works great, Ive had many.

If you are a Baller then Go Greddy or Delphi

Get a autometer mechanical gauge or go electrical if your so terrified of tiny drops of oil that could spill in your dash.
I cant remember of the top of my head but when im in full boost im around 50psi
driving around is 35-40
idle is 11

Not sure if it was mentioned, but was the correct size oil restrictor used?

I got a whole batch of autometer gauges for sale if you want to switch up. Autometer ARE NOT EXPENSIVE! Whoever says that is crazy. Expensive is Defi, Greddy, Apex-i, etc.

i agree, but extreamly cheapo are

cheap : sunpro , faze , ebay crap. 10-20$

Mid: Auto meter, $25-100

Expensive efi, Greddy, Apex-i,$ 100-200

thats why Autometer is the best bang for the buck. Get electric oil press not mechanical.

DEFI is SECHS. Autometer, IIRC, has some DEFI wannabe's out, I can't remember the model though.
