First time boostin and I have ?????
I picked up my car yesterday and it's running like a champ. I LOVE BOOST! Only concern I have is my oil pressure. It was reading fine until I went into boost for the first time the guage climbed up like normal then never went down. I checked for leaks but I have none, could I have a faulty guage??? Everytime I start the car, it goes right back up and doesn't move. Is this a bad thing??? Thanks in Advance.....JT!

Sounds likely to be a faulty oil pressure gauge. Get that replaced ASAP. You need it to function properly.

What's it sitting at, btw?

Some Glo shift guages (I was on a budget) It's reading like 100psi. It read the normal psi until I went into boost for the first time...

and never went down? get a good mechanical gauge like autometer or omori or something if you can and see where you psi is after that

Agreed.

Just for future reference, you shouldn't try to cheap out on things such as gauges, and whatnot. They could really send you into a panic.

Thanks fellas, you are right about the panic thing. But I been driving everywhere and no problems yet, so I think it's the guage too. Now I need to get my money back!!!

definitly on the money back thing....so right now its stuck on ''high psi''? or is it reading and sticking?

also was this gauge electric or mechanical? mechanical are more accurate for future ref

Just for record, though, if you're seeing 100psi, and you know your gauge is good, you've got something else wrong. My DE+T only hits about 51psi under full load. Cruising around town sits around 35psi, and at idle is a little below 25psi.
