EVO Injectors on a GTiR?? I guess not....
I read somewhere that EVO injectors were compatible with the GTiR ones(http://www.sr20forum.com/forced-induction-performance-parts/217975-denso-560cc-topfeed.html) and since a friend of mine was selling his 850cc EVO injectors for a very good price I wanted to give them a try. The problem is that comparing the EVO injectors with the GTiR's they are not the same... any ideas??

They Fit.... yeeeehhhhh!!!

Edit: They DON'T FIT.... the damned grease monkey never put them and told me the worked ok, but when I got home I tried to install them and they were not even close to fit.... ... I guess I'll have to buy some PTE injectors.

Since I'm having a problem with my current setup I'm bringing this back from the death....

The problem is that at high rpm levels (from 6000 to 8200 rpm) there are moments where the car seems to loose power and starts some sort of misfiring/backfiring and there are times where I cannot pass 7000 rpm because of this problem. I already changed sparkplugs, wires and distributor cap and nothing seems to work.

I’m running a haltech E6X EMS and a Crane Hi-6 ignition module and Lx92 coil and form what I’ve checked, the system has a healthy spark.

As you can see in the above pictures, the tip of EVO injector is considerably shorter than the stock one so it does not go as deep into the intake manifold as the stock one.

Can this be a problem considering that at WOT the spray from the EVO injectors could not be going directly into the combustion chamber???

Cheers,
