Base timing is 15 degrees.

Running the .82 A/R.

Still doesn't want to start right away when cold, have to keep the foot on the gas and crank it over for a little while.

does your ecu have a crank injector time table? my aem ems has it and i was having the ame problem my injector crank time table was too rich so i had to lower he crank injector time table, i eventully hit a sweet spot between fueling and spark to where my car starts up in one crank.

becuase with you having to give it gas means you are letting in more air, and when you give it more throttle then you are leaning out the car thats why when you floor the car and cank it over it starts thats becuase you are giving less gas than when you dont give it gas and let it crank over.

im not sure what kinda start up calirations the calm ecu has tho

Good point. I'll check the injection cranking pulsewidth. Still could mean that I'm having an injector/rail leak, possibly.

just was thinking of your bottom end power, was wondering what your WOT air fuel ratios were down low? was thinking maybe your bttom end air fuel is a little rich causing you some power loss. just a thought

Nah, they don't look rich. they're actually in the 15's~14's.

FAIL.

Took the car to try and pass inspection today. Didn't have any CEL lights, drove it to the place kinda easy, not romping on it or anything. Car sat in the parking lot for about 45 minutes before I got it into the bay for inspection.

Failed for CAT not ready, o2 sensor not ready (o2 sensor heater was ready), and EGR system not ready.

SUCKS. Now I can't drive the car until I find a way to bypass these issues, somehow.

was the warmed up before the inspection? If the car is not hot you most likely won;t pass with any car

Well I drove it for around 15 minutes to get to the place, and then had to wait for almost an hour before they would look at the car. I just don't feel comfortable driving it with expired inspection and registration.

You gatta drive it like you stole it or do some high speed runs on the highway, get off and drive it into the inspection bay. You want the catalytic converter glowing red for emissions tests. You didn't fail though, so... =/

Yeah, I figured that's what the case would be, but I'm really running out of time in order to get the car on the road. I think I've found someone that charges around $80 to get it done, so we'll see what happens. I may dog it out on the way there (it's kinda far), just to see if I can pass it regularly.
