As previously mentioned, 550cc injectors are rated for much more than 300whp as you're stating. It all depends on many other variables, as well as the dyno used.

"Happier Yank Dyno's" is only a small bit of the equation. Take into consideration climatic factors, fuel type used, etc.

Hell, even the SOFLA boys report better numbers than many across the US, but look at their climate.

I'm at 4K feet above sea level. WORLD of difference for me compared to those at sea level with different climates.



a z32 can only flow so much, a 550cc injector can only flow so much, so the dyno's are defiantly happier. yes our 98 octane is probably equal to you 93 or what ever which is even better for comparison, and our climate is fine for making power with our altitude at sea level.

thats why i am after these numbers to work out how much happier. seems that our dyno's are closer to your mustang ones.

I don't see how you claim 550's only are capable of 350whp.

Hell, my 370's at 4bar of fuel pressure were at 95% duty cycle on a 3076r at 9psi. Roughly around 280whp give or take a few whp.

370's at 4bar are the equivelant of ~420cc injectors...

what i am saying is that yank dyno's and Australian dyno's are calibrated different

so i am wanting to know how much different the correction is!

thats why i stated what a 550cc injector can do here and z32 etc as this things will flow the same power no matter the figure?understand what i am saying yet?

so 90% of the time over here on standard fuel regulator 550cc injectors will be on 90% duty cycle at (250rwkw's) 308hp and with regulators and so forth can get up to 340hp mark.

so therefore if you can flow say 400hp on 550cc's? then that would mean that 250rwkw's (308hp) on our dyno's is equivilant to 400hp on yours, get it yet? then i can look at a dyno graph and say hey he got 400hp on that set up, so thats around 250kw's over here, damn that guy has his set up dialed in well!

get it yet?

so for me to work this out i ask you:

what is the limit for a z32 afm?
what hp is expected on 550cc running 90%?

that way i can work out what i need to.

I'm pretty sure the difference you're referring to is the same difference we see in the states between Mustang/Dyno Dynamics dynamometers (Edy current) and Dynojet dynamometers (rotating mass). Is just sounds like you don't have any rotating mass style dynamometers in your country. If we didn't have them here, we'd all have the same output. Proving once again that Dynojets (for the most part) are inaccurate, leaning towards the optimistic side.

yeah i thought it seamed around that mark, but wasn't certain. yeah i dont think we use dynojets over here.

we defiantly used a fair few dyno dynamics ones

i think i read the correction between mustang and dynojet to be around 13%?

is this correct?
