just wanted to see what u guys thought about garrett gt3271 hybred series turbo i wll be running one as soon as a manifold selection is made ,im trying to make 350 ,400 on high boost last time dynoed with a t-28 and made 300@18psi

I've heard good things about the gt3251 & gt3255, but I've never heard anything about this turbo...why not just get a 50 trim turbo, and call it a day

The GT3076R is your turbo.

That GT3271 is a terrible choice for your goals, as it won't be happy making more than 300 WHP. Where are you going to find a split pulse manifold anyway?

Edit: If price is an issue, maybe a GT3776 to keep in the journal bearing world. But I wouldn't run that thing either just because it's a pig.

? getting for a good deal did you read the cart on it not better than the dbb one but it is a gt series and will produce 420 @ full boost its a little diffrent for my tast but has good spool time and more hp rating than my t-28.

I don't care that they say it will make 420 flywheel HP. We're talking wheel horsepower, and the compressor map shows it's complete crap.
